Let’s cast our minds back to 2020, a year ago today to be exact, to this stunning wedding in New Zealand. Stuart and Nadine held their celebration at the Orua Beach House on the Coromadel Peninsula.
The whole weekend was amazing from start to finish, all their friends and family traveled from all over the globe to meet at this beautiful corner of the North Island. Nadine and her family are from Canada and Stuart from a little village near me, in Shropshire! Travelling brought these two together and they now call New Zealand their home with their two labradors, Bonkers & Dixie.
A beautiful boho-inspired wedding at Hafod Farm in Snowdonia where Ellis & Josh hosted the most amazing, relaxed wedding in the Autumn sun. Ellis and her best friend Grace created, designed and collected everything to create a unique space for everyone to enjoy and they even sourced and arranged all the flowers!
Ellis looked stunning in her bespoke Emma Beaumont dress (that had pockets!) alongside Josh in his smart tuxedo. An emotional candle lit ceremony in the barn where they exchanged personal vows, followed by a relaxed wedding breakfast and live music. Foliage, pampas and macrame dressed the venue perfectly which reflected their own personal style and individuality. Ellis even makes the macrame pieces to buy or hire, check out her work here, she’s one talented soul!
We went for a little adventure into the national park for some portraits before dancing the night away. North Wales, in particular snowdonia, is one of my favourite locations to shoot, the perfect backdrop for your wedding.
“Nesta is an incredibly talented photographer, if she is available on your date we cannot recommend enough that you book her for your wedding.
We weren’t that comfortable at the thought of ‘posing’ for photographs but Nesta made us feel so at ease on the day, most of the time we didn’t even notice she was there! Nesta is so friendly and warm, we felt like we had known her a lifetime and it was a friend documenting our day rather than a photographer.
The set of images we received were INCREDIBLE! There were so many more photos than we expected, every single one was beautiful. Nesta had such an incredible eye for capturing our day. Our friends, family and suppliers all raved about our photos.
Currently thinking of reasons why we could book her again, thank you so much Nesta”
Love a barn wedding? Why not take a look at this cotswold wedding!
The last few weeks have been tricky to navigate with postponements and worried couples struggling to know what to do for the best. If you had your heart set on a spring/summer wedding but are finding it difficult to postpone to a weekend due to availability, i’m here to put you at ease!
Let’s transport you to this cosy winter wedding from November, Kate and Bib chose the beautiful Stone Barn, in the Cotswolds. If you haven’t already stumbled upon the variety of venues that Cripps & Co can offer you, please do take a peep.
I adored the intimate ceremony in front of the fire, decked with the most spectacular floral installation by Go Wild Flowers. Kate blew everyone away in her Alexandra Grecco dress, a romantic, silk crepe A line gown with hand-embroidered floral appliqué panels. Paired beautifully with a floor length veil and Jennifer Behr headpiece.
With the evenings getting darker during the winter months you can go all out with tonnes of candles, festoon lighting, lanterns and fire pits! Kate and Bib took full advantage of this and had a candle lit, relaxed reception which complimented the rustic decor of the barn. Foliage, blush pink hues and brass candlesticks were used to create a homely dining atmosphere.
Thank you for choosing me to document your wedding, here is little taster of their beautiful day…
No Monday blues for us here as we are enjoying this beauty at Iscoyd Park, a two piece dress from Dolly Blue Bridal and stunning shoes from Jimmy Choo. Set in the Shropshire countryside, the guests enjoyed a relaxed day with drinks in the autumn sun and intimate reception. Sarah and Tobin opted for a small gathering with their closest family and friends, so much quality time was spent with everyone on the day which was so lovely to photograph.
White flowers and foliage adorned the ceremony and reception with the flower girls wearing cute little flower crowns. Fifi boutique created the most amazing installations around the venue, my personal favourite was the arch which framed Sarah and Tobin perfectly during their ceremony. Sarah & Tobin’s tablescape was to die for! I loved the simple yet elegant use of candles, foliage and florals to highlight Iscoyd Park’s historic features yet creat a cosy space to dine.
I fell in love with Sarah’s style and attention to detail the minute I lay eyes on her instagram account, she has the most stunning home. Take a peek if you love interior design too – inside_number_5_
Thank you to Sarah and Tobin for choosing me to capture your wedding day, here are some of my favourites for you!
Today i’m sharing the wedding of Eleri & Owain, who celebrated their wedding deep in the Worcestershire countryside, Elmbridge Farm to be exact! An idyllic new farm wedding venue with lakes, woodland and rustic charm.
Their intimate ceremony was held in St Michael’s Church in Elmley Lovett surrounded by Eleri and Owains nearest and dearest and then partied away on the farm in a lake-side tipi. Eleri is also a fellow creative (if you haven’t have already guessed by the stunning DIY decor!) and created the most gorgeous pieces of artwork for the tables! I loved all of the ideas and creative touches.
I was also spoilt for choice with all of the locations on the farm, I could have spent days shooting here with these two! If all of that wasn’t enough, I also worked with the most talented of suppliers:
